SoapCity was a portal site operated by Sony Pictures Entertainment that offered daily news about national broadcast soap operas. Originally it served as a generic site for all the major networks with links to the Sony properties, Days of our Lives and The Young and the Restless.

As the web site grew, separate official sites for three other properties were added as well as shopping, community and offline events.

Eventually users were able to watch their programs online via SoapCity Download, the first online outlet for network television video. Once the Download service was mature, the separate official sites were collapsed back into the SoapCity portal site.

At its height, SoapCity housed fifteen separate web sites targeted towards soap opera fans.
